Terms & Conditions

1. General

  • These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by West IS Best Valeting (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”).
  • By booking a service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Bookings & Cancellations

  • Appointments can be made via phone, email, or social media.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a fee of £20 to cover time and preparation costs.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to weather, staff availability, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Appointments may be rescheduled or amended in circumstances of adverse weather that could compromise safety or service quality. Customers will be informed at the earliest opportunity and offered alternative arrangements.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
  • Payment is due upon completion of the service unless agreed otherwise.
  • We accept cash, card, and bank transfer. Invoices (if applicable) must be paid within 7 days.
  • Any refusal or delay in payment must be substantiated in writing with a valid explanation. West Is Best Valeting reserves the right to pursue recovery of unpaid invoices through legal proceedings or third-party collection services where necessary.

4. Vehicle Condition

  • Vehicles must be in a reasonably clean state prior to valeting. Excessive dirt, pet hair, or staining may incur additional charges.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service if the vehicle poses a health or safety risk to our staff.

5. Liability

While every care is taken, we are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage to paintwork, upholstery, or trim.
  • Damage caused by faulty components (e.g. electric windows, locks).
  • Customers are required to participate in a vehicle walk-round inspection both before and after the service to confirm vehicle condition.
  • Any issues or concerns must be reported immediately following completion of the service.

West Is Best Valeting maintains comprehensive insurance coverage as follows:

  • – Motor Vehicle Insurance – up to £750,000
  • – Public Liability Insurance – up to £2,000,000
  • – Damage Liability Insurance – up to £500,000

6. Customer Property

  • Please remove all valuables from your vehicle prior to service. Whilst every care will be taken, we are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.

7. Service Guarantee

  • We aim for 100% customer satisfaction. If you’re not happy, please contact us within 24 hours and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue.
  • Re-cleans or touch-ups may be offered at our discretion.

8. Environmental Commitment

  • We use eco-friendly products where possible and dispose of waste responsibly.
  • Water usage is minimised in line with local regulations.

9. Privacy

  • Customer details are kept confidential and used only for booking, invoicing, and service updates. We do not share your data with third parties.

10. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website or upon request.

11. Use of Images & Visual Content

11.1. Photography & Social Media

  • We may take photographs or short videos of vehicles before, during, or after valeting for promotional use.
  • These images may be shared on our website, social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), or printed marketing materials.
  • We will never publish identifiable personal information (e.g. number plates, faces, or private property) without your prior consent.

11.2. Customer Consent

  • By booking a service, you grant us permission to use images of your vehicle for marketing purposes unless you explicitly request otherwise.
  • If you prefer not to have your vehicle featured, please inform us at the time of booking or in writing.

11.3. Ownership & Copyright

  • All images, graphics, and promotional content created by West IS Best Valeting remain our intellectual property.
  • Customers may share our content on personal or business social media, provided it is not altered and proper credit is given.
  • Commercial use of our images without written permission is strictly prohibited.

14. Image Removal Requests

  • If you wish for an image featuring your vehicle to be removed from our platforms, please contact us and we will act promptly.
